Your blog is a peaceful, calming force in the blogosphere. You tend to avoid conflict - you're more likely to share than rant. From your social causes to cute pet photos, your life is a (mostly) open book.
Well, I got a bit done in my novel. I am kind of stumped, since our group meets a new enemy, one with all sorts of fancy technology. I am adding a new character, a new pilot. My inspiration for the new pilot has come from Battlestar Galactica, the new series on the Sci-Fi channel. Speaking of my novel, I know a few Hebrew words (one of the characters is an Israeli), but I need to get to studying the language.
Today I will undergo a test to advance to the fourth rank. I have worked hard to come this far. The Test of the Heart will be a challenging one, but I have made it to the 3rd rank. If I make it to the fourth rank, I will be given the clearence of Seraphim 3/B.
I will be entrusted to the fountain of infinite knowledge if I make this rank. I will also be entrusted to the Fourth Secret.
I dunno what to say. I'm 24 (25 in November) yet I'm still single. It gets lonely and depressing. I have had no real success at meeting women. Was I meant to be lonely? To become a lost soul?

Last night I had a dream that I knew a woman. Okay, not that unusual. What was unusual was that she was bio-luminescent, almost holographic. Yet she was "real" because I was able to touch her. She was a 25-year-old named Suki although I do not remember her last name. The entirty of my dream took place in a very dark world. Very little sunlight broke through the clouds and it was cold. But her body provided light. She was a life saver because I had no flashlight or night vision device. There were few structures in this world, save for an abandoned city some 25 miles southeast of the location my dream took place in. There were even fewer people. Mostly those gathered around fires to keep warm. In my dream, some drifters tried to attack her, but we both fought them off. She was a lot stronger than she looked and was probably used to fighting off attackers.
We talked, she told me she did not know what caused her to be luminescent, but she wished that she could turn it off if possible. She wore a cloak around her when she was around lots of people but she could do nothing about her face. She told me that the world became dark after a huge catastrophe. She really liked me, even though I had not told her this, she told me she knew I liked her for who she was and regardless of her strange appearance.
Historical nuclear weapon yields and effects compared to the most common warheads currently in our arsenal. This graph is not entirly accurate due to various factors and assumes an air burst. Each blast graphic is superimposed over a map of Los Angeles. The empty space was going to be used for the 9 Megaton W53 Warhead which is our country's largest but FAS's calculator would not go up that high and the map not big enough.
Blue Circle Blast pressure: 20 PSI at edge. Higher the closer toward blast epicenter. Effects: Almost verything completely destroyed. Some stronger buildings are severaly damaged.
Red Circle Mostly thermal damage. In large yield explosions where the red circle is wider than the blue circle, the blast pressures will range between 20 PSI to 5 PSI
Yellow Circile Blast pressure: 5 PSI at inner edge to 2 PSI at outter edge. Effects: Most homes severely damaged. Moderate damage to stronger buildings. Widespread fires in larger yield explosions.
I don't make much money, my social status is non-existant. I don't get along with many people. In short, my life looks bleak. My only friends are online (and two of them at that). I am writing a novel, but I felt particularly insulted when I emailed a copy to my parents, only to find out that they deleted it when I saw it in their computer's recycle bin (and they know what I am doing). I thought parents were supposed to encourage their kids to do something. My own f**king parents. They did not even comment or bother to read it. Most people would tell me to "turn off the computer" even though I spend less than a few hours at most each day; I am busy for 8 hours of the day.
Okay this makes my blood boil. How anyone could be so dumb enough as to blame Bush for the hurricane beyond me. People died while many more remain homeless as a result of this storm and leftists have the gall to use the disater to make a partisian cheap-shot at the president. It is no better than Cindy al-Sheehan's use of her son's death for political gain. My friend Hungarian Gypsy told me that the Democratic Underground is even blaming Halliburton. While I am a Conservative and pro-Bush, I also belive politics should be left out of major disasters. There is simply nothing that could have been done to prevent it. Not short of controlling the weather that is. On a happier note, I want to say thanks to those countries that are helping. My hat goes off to Israel most of all for offering to help in not only the releif effort, but also in security (which is desperatly needed after the string of murders and rapes) and other needs.
Okay I'm bored. So another history factiod. Anyone know what a Katar is? Well it is a very interesting wrist blade. It was used by the Indians and Persians. There were many variants. Some had a single blade while others had up to three blades side-by-side and were known as Scissors Katars. The blades of Scissors Katars folded outwards and vaguley resmbled the talons of a bird.
They were the closest equivalant to Amazons that have been proven to exist. Yet they do not get as much attention as the Mongols, Greeks or Romans.
The Scythians originate from Scythia. They were a loose collection of nomadic tribes and horse riders and are best known for their Warrior Maidens and their skill in archery. This made them sought after mercenaries and inspired tales of the Amazons in Greek myth. here. this site seems to debate what role women played in Scythian society, but it is generally accepted that women were equal to men.
